The topic for this year's Oratorical Contest is "Why Me, Why Not?"

The contest is open to students under the age of 16 as of December 31, 2007.  Interested students should prepare a 4 to 5 minute
speech on the above topic to be presented at their local Club's contest.  1st place finishers at the Club level then compete at the
Zone level, with 1st place finishers moving on to the Regional and District competitions to be held at the 3rd quarter conference in
Louisville, KY in May.

d).  Your check, made payable to the Kentucky-West Virginia District, must be submitted to your Lt Governor no later than the
date of the Zone contest - NO EXCEPTIONS.
